Aug 23, 2007 (Thu): On behalf of Joel Sommer:Id like to inform you of an event Im putting on Aug 23-25th in St. Louis, MO and need assistance getting the word out. I own www.WinePress.US, the largest winemaking / grape growing discussion forum on the Internet. This is the third annual winefest, which has seminars on making wine or growing grapes at home. The events start out with a cocktail party on Thursday evening at the Airport Hilton by Lambert Airport in St. Louis. The actual educational seminars start on Friday morning at Little Hills Winery in St. Charles, MO. Saturday seminars, wine competition and tastings willtake place at the Airport Hilton. Seminars to consist of making wine from fruits, making wine from native grapes, making wine from kits, how to prepare for a vineyard, how to taste wine / educate your palate, and more. There is an amateur winemaking competition on Saturday. All lunches and dinners on Friday and Saturday are included in the registration fees. The first WinePress.US Winefest was held in Denver, CO and the event last year was held in Baltimore, MD. People from all over the US, Canada and even Knottingly, West Yorkshire, England attend. www.WinePress.US gets over 6million hits each month and is 500% larger than the largest similar forum on Yahoo, Google or MSN.
